The Sleepypod is the ultimate pet travel multi-tasker. It's a carrier, a pet bed, and a crash-tested car seat. Ultra Plush bedding surrounded by a luggage-grade, ballistic nylon base forms the cozy bed that easily becomes a carrier by zipping on its mesh dome.
Many cats and dogs associate travel with negative experiences, such as a trip to the vet or kennel. Sleepypod mobile pet bed allows a pet to travel safely in the comfort of its own bed, thereby reducing travel-related stress because the Sleepypod is already a trusted part of its everyday life.
For added versatility, the Sleepypod can be used as a car seat. In the event of a collision or hard stop, Sleepypod's PPRS technology prevents a pet from being ejected while helping to reduce the damaging forces on the pet. Rigorous testing includes the same dynamic crash testing that ensures the performance of child safety restraints. It was tested at U.S., Canadian, and E.U. child safety standards.

What is the maximum weight allowable?
The Sleepypod mobile pet bed is crash tested and certified for pets up to 15 pounds. Each pet is different however, so owners should consider their petās preferences when choosing a carrier.
How do you clean it?
To remove exterior dirt, simply wipe the carrier in the direction of the fabric with a damp cloth and repeat as necessary. The interior plush is removable and can be machine washed.
What is the PPRS handilock?
PPRS Handilock was designed to augment Sleepypod mobile pet bed car safety. For purchases made prior to 2016, please contact us to request one.
